Lightspeed Systems helps K-12 schools and districts create safer, more effective digital learning environments. As the company scaled its market footprint, the team saw an opportunity to sharpen how it gathered, organized, and acted on district-level intelligence.

The K-12 market generates an enormous amount of public information. For Lightspeed's sales and business development teams, the challenge was never a lack of it. It was the volume, the fragmentation, and the format.

Valuable insights were scattered across RFP boards with complex interfaces, school board meetings published as hours of video and public transcripts, district websites, press releases and PDFs, and account history living in separate internal systems. No team, however strong, can track thousands of districts across all of those sources at once. The real challenge was coverage: consistently surfacing the right accounts, with the right context, at the right time.

Rather than deploying a rigid, off-the-shelf tool, Linkt built a custom system on top of its AI research agent infrastructure, shaped around how Lightspeed's team actually works: from RFP tracking and enrichment to account research and market intelligence.

The agents continuously gather, filter, and summarize information from across the public K-12 landscape — procurement portals, board meeting transcripts, district announcements, and the open web.

The system was not built once and handed off. Through a shared Slack channel, weekly updates, and direct input from the people using the outputs, Linkt kept tuning the agents: sharpening signal quality, cutting noise, and aligning the system more closely with how Lightspeed qualifies opportunities.

Over time, the agents converged on Lightspeed's qualification criteria, sales process, and go-to-market strategy: less like a static tool, more like a research function that keeps getting better.
